Profile

David is the eldest of two sons  born in Washington DC and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, where he spent the first third of his life. His early childhood was rich with people (many from his own family) of different cultures, races, religions, and creeds.  These cosmopolitan roots lay the foundation on which his self-identity was created, causing him to regard himself as a citizen of not one nation, but of the world.

At the age of 10, David began studying Taido, a traditional Japanese Martial Art.  More than just a casual after-school activity, David says Taido instilled in him a mental discipline and stamina to handle tough challenges with a calm and peaceful demeanor. As a student, he competed in 3 world competitions bringing back 2 golds and one silver.  Through his martial arts studies, David  formed a deep love for the Japanese people and their culture.  In his junior year of high-school, David spent one year abroad studying  in Aomori, Japan on a Rotary Exchange Student Scholarship. He returned home, fluent in Japanese.

David decided to attend New York University for his undergraduate degree. He received a double major in Economics and East Asian studies in 3 years time.  Upon graduation, his experiences and studies in New York City, led him to return to Atlanta, Georgia.  He teamed up with his father and started up an Enterprise Software Company.  His first attempts at selling their flagship product was met with little success. He successfully re-structured the company to deliver IT services, leveraging their flagship product and development experience as a resource.  Today, through his company XenLogic, David has developed and maintained many customized solutions for top Companies.  He leads the company and its projects in a Strategic Capacity, focusing on meeting the direct needs of  clients and their end-users.
